In the unique terroir of Quinta da Teixuga we can find the noblest varieties of Dão region, some of them with over 50 years. : Touriga-Nacional, Tinta-Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen, for the red wines; Encruzado and Malvasia- Fina for the white wines
2012 is the year when the Caminhos Cruzados project starts. The wine brand “Titular” is launched.
In 2013 starts the exploitation of the vineyard Quinta da Teixuga, with the recuperation of the old vines and plantation of new parcels.
2014 is marked by the arrival of the winemaking team to the project: Carlos Magalhães and Manuel Vieira. With an impressive experience and inspiring achievements in the Portuguese wine sector, and in Dão in particular, their challenge was to make memorable wines.
2014 is also the year when the decision of building a new wine cellar was taken. An impressive project that will be implemented at Quinta da Teixuga, with a total production capacity of 400 000 liters.
The inauguration is scheduled for the 2017 harvest campaign.
2016 brings the recognition of this trajectory: Caminhos Cruzados is awarded with the price “Producer Revelation of the Year 2015” by Revista de Vinhos (Portuguese Wine magazine).
